This is, perhaps, the single largest collection of songs and apps I’ve posted since I started to post the Starbucks Pick of the Week. You know the drill – please make sure to comment on which code you’ve used, because they can only be used once. Enjoy!
City and Colour – Harder Than Stone
Rhye – Open
Did Ms. Clarkson have a baby and name it Alanis Morisette Jr.? Because that’s what she would sound like if she did.
Best song ever.
Here’s a cover of a song that I first liked, and now I’m obsessed. #BEAUTIFUL is Mariah Carey’s best recent song, and Lisa Lavie does a fantastic job of covering it. The video is cheesy as hell, but I’m here just for the voices.

Listen, I know we’ve heard this song a million times, and most of us are probably sick of it by now. But you gotta listen to this cover, done by the one and only Jake Barker. It’s safe to say this is his best cover yet.

Finally, HTC has started to roll out their cheques for the trade-up program that began a couple of months ago. I just received an email from HTC stating that my cheque is on its way. Cool beans!
I normally don’t post reviews about cosmetics and make-up, but this specific brand is too good to be true. According to their website,
prihtee paintz started in 2012 when an addiction to nail polish needed to progress to the next level.
Being able to create and sell our own line of independent polishes is a dream come true!
Nothing but the finest foundations and glitters are used in order to ensure that what you are buying will last you from your first to your very last manicure!
All polishes are “3 Free” and cruelty free. That means no toluene, dibutyl phthalate, or formaldehyde. All bottles have a stainless steel mixing ball.
What initially made me love this brand of nail polish was my sister was looking for a brand that was free from chemicals, which is apparently extremely hard to find in the cosmetics industry. Not only is Prihtee Paintz free from all chemicals, but is also handmade with care, and doesn’t test on animals. What more could you want from a cosmetics/nail polish line? I’m also proud to say that the proprietor, Susan, has made a shaving cream and skin care line!! I personally can not wait to try out their skincare range.
If you’re in the market for fantastic products and a quirky range of nail polish (I mean, who doesn’t want to have Chocolate Salty Balls as a colour on their nails?!), then go support Prihtee Paintz.
You can check out all they have to offer at http://www.prihteepaintz.com, and also like their Facebook Page by clicking here.

I never thought any Vampire Weekend song would be able to dethrone I Think Ur A Contra, but boy, was I wrong. Diane Young is 2 minutes and 44 seconds of pure delicious. And it doesn’t help that the music video is monumentally epic. If you don’t have 3 minutes to spare and drown in this music video, then you, my friend, are stupid.
