American Idol: Kree Harrison and Candice Glover Make it to the Finals

Next week, Kree Harrison and Candice Glover are going to battle it out for the ultimate title in music – the winner of American Idol. I was honestly shocked to see Angie Miller go home tonight. As much as I hate to say this, but after last night’s performances, the odds of Kree making it to the finale seemed dismal. She was even shocked, and if you look closely, you can see Kree mouth ‘holy shit’ several times after Angie’s elimination.

Here are two of the best performances from last night. Team Kree for the win!

Kree Harrison – Crying (Top 10 Performance)

Last night, the top 10 had the entire catalogue of American Idol performances from previous winners, including songs they performed while competing on the show. Kree Harrison chose to sing Carrie Underwood’s rendition of Crying, originally sung by Roy Orbison. I think she did a phenomenal job, and while Angie Miller is the clear favourite, Kree is, in my opinion, the underdog, and the one to watch out for in the competition.

Check out her performance of Crying below (skip to 0:21 to get past the annoying American Idol app)!

American Idol: Angela Miller – You Set Me Free

So this is what I like to call a spectacular performance. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Angela Miller is going to be in the Top 3, if not the winner of this years American Idol, based on this performance alone. The only fear I have is she set the bar too high and all future performances aren’t going to be good enough, as the judges will constantly compare it to this performance.

Naima Adedapo – For All We Know (American Idol 2011 Auditions)

Another prediction to land in this years finals.  Naima Adedapo has it all: a fantastic voice, a unique look, and most of all, some personality!  She’s actually infectious.  Can’t wait to see how she does in the competition.  Check out her version of For All We Know below!

UPDATE: She made it into the Top 13 yesterday!  My prediction still stands as crowning her for American Idol 2011!

Brett Loewenstern Audition (Bohemian Rhapsody) – American Idol 2011

Goosebumps when he sang the first note until the end.

Just another early prediction for who is going to be in the Top 3 of this years American Idol.

Not to brag or anything (oh what am I thinking, I’m totally bragging), but I predicted very early on – audition stage – for the X-Factor 2010, that Matt Cardle would win the competition (and he did).

Brett Loewenstern’s rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody is bloody amazing.  He will easily land a spot in the finals, unless he majorly chooses a bad song.

Check out his awesome audition below!

Kelly Clarkson – A Night For Hope 2010

Here is Kelly Clarkson performing many songs for A Night For Hope 2010, Auction Banter.  Many of the songs include new ones which she just wrote, including You Still Won’t Know What It’s Like, When It Don’t Come Easy, and the holiday classic I’ll Be Home For Christmas. Clarkson will always be the best American Idol winner, and these performances just prove how much of a versatile vocalist she really is.  Enjoy below!
