Matt Cardle and Rihanna – Unfaithful

I believe this just sealed the deal.  Between Rebecca and Matt, this performance just made him win the competition.  You could literally feel the heat between these two as they performed, and could easily re-release this as a single, ending up with a smash hit for Matt.  Rihanna is so hot.  That’s all.

Alexandra Burke – The Silence (X-Factor Semi-Finals Results Live)

The winner of X-Factor 2008, Alexandra Burke, performed her smash hit single The Silence during tonights semi-finals results show.  I honestly got goosebumps.  Her vocal performance was flawless and chilling.  Along with Leona Lewis and Olly Murs, Alexandra is easily the best X-Factor contestant to grace the stage.  Check out her performance below!

Rebecca Ferguson – Amazing Grace/Show Me Love

Wow.  It’s going to be a really tough time to see who makes it into the finals.  Rebecca is easily going to make it after slaying both of these performances.  Especially her rendition of Amazing Grace.  She really is a class act.  I would say that Rebecca, Matt, and One Direction will make it into the finals.  Sorry Cher, you were really good this week, but not as good as the others.

Matt Cardle – You’ve Got the Love/She’s Always A Woman

Well, Matt Cardle has officially won.  Forget the fact that he had a flu/tonsilitis last week and was almost forced to leave the competition.  Matt sang my favourite song from my favourite group of all time.  Matt’s performance of Florence and the Machine’s You’ve Got the Love has, in my opinion, put him straight through the finals.  Check out his amazing performances below!

Matt Cardle – Knights in White Satin/I Love Rock & Roll

WOW.  Each contestant had to sing two songs last night, and Matt was given the chance to perform Knights in White Satin by The Moody Blues.  And his performance was amazing.

I think he does better when it’s just him and his guitar and he performs the slower songs.  His first song, I Love Rock & Roll was good, but not outstanding.  Check out both below!

X-Factor Charity Single – Heroes

The sixteen X-Factor finalists have gotten together to release a charity single, ‘Heroes’, which is a cover of David Bowie’s massive hit in the 70’s.  All net proceeds are going to the Help For Heroes charity, where information on it can be found here [].  This video features fantastic vocal performances by Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction, and all the other finalists!  Enjoy it below!

Matt Cardle – Come Together

It was Beatles week tonight on X-Factor, and Matt was given the song Come Together by his mentor, Danni Minogue.  One of my favourite Beatles songs, but not my favourite performance by Matt.  He did something weird with his voice in the beginning and middle of the song that sounded really messed up and made me cringe.  My least favourite performance by him so far, but still my favourite contestant.
